I picked up a brand new 180 and after inspecting the seals more closely at home I think I discovered an issue with the bottom. I think I'm going to exchange the tank but thought I'd post just to confirm this. I didn't see the bottom seals very well... I picked the tank up at a loading dock at night so it was difficult to see all the seams. This is going to be a real pain to move again.

I cant tell from the picture much detail on the seal....but for piece of mind just replace it if you think there is an issue. It will relieve the stress down the road and keep you from constantly thinking you may get a leek.

Happy Reefing.

In my opinion it doesn't look like it will leak. Just looks like that's where two silicone beads met and they smeared it weird.

They are done by hand, if the LFS will exchange I would do that, I can't tell from the photo if it looks like it's a bad seam, but your peace of mind would make it worth the exchange.
