This tank is sick and it dosnt even have water in it yet. The lighting is set up perfect not a dead spot in the tank nice and even. Inside the stand is so clean its silly and alot of room for extra toys or gadgets. Gonna be awsome full of corals and fish.................

Nice!

Are you going to set it up and do the full cycle or are you transferring enough established water, sand, and rock to just do a full on transfer without a cycle period?

I recently took all of the water I possibly could out of my 75g along with the sand and rock and transferred it to my 120g along with about 50g of new salt water. No new rock or sand was added at the time of the transfer. I lost one Clown Goby because it got too close to my Mini Maxi nem in the holding container, other than that I didn't see any negative effects at all.

When I removed the sand I vacuumed it pretty heavily too.

I don't have but 55 gallons of currently being used water so that would not help me, and I have no sand, and the rock is all base but 2 pieces. It will have to be a fresh start just because I don't have the current water/rock/sand to put in there.

Awsome job so far !!! Your gonna love the gunk that skimmer pulls out. Eventually I would recommed filling a piece of pantyhose with carbon and set it on the lid of the skimmer to keep the smell down.

Steve, this has to be one of the TOP set ups I've seen. You have done a trmendous job with every detail. The wiring under the stand and the sump... Just WOW! Great job Bro!
