Thank u all so much, it has been a fun ride but am glad it is almost done! The tangs I have had from 1 year to 3. The hole reason for the upgrade was for the fish....kinda crazy but it will make the tang police happy....LOL

ok so here it is so far. the cycle is done after 2 weeks!! i used bio spyra made by instant ocean and it work!!! anywho i have most of my frags in there and man do they look small in this big tank!!:cry:
the evolution leds are bad to the bone! the color and polyp extention are great:bigsmile:
all the filttration turned out great and tomorrow the controller will be in! after that the under side of the tank will be complete and ill get pics up.

Ok so here are a couple pics of the tank as of last week....iPhone pics, I will get good ones when I get a chance.
Cycle is done and starting to grow Coraline algea. Also all sps has had amazing growth and coloration from these evolution fixtures!!! I have been taking monthly pics of growth and...WOW!!!

ok so i have not updated this in a while but i have a lot of good news and also some bad. first off the bad news....my blue hippo tang had to be taken out because he got a taste for zoas and ate all of them....i mean all! event the hornets!!!took me about a week to catch him but i did. the next is the achillies tang....he past away about a month ago from a long bout with ich. i tried everything to help him get rid of it but nothing seemed to help.
so on to the good news, the Evolution LED's are the best lights i have ever had by far. i have been taking monthy growth pics and 1/4"-1/2" each month on all acros! the colors on them are amazing and will not be using any other lighting ever again...im sold! i got 2 mp40 es w's, and the RKE should be all hooked up in a week or 2, so under the stand the electrical is not quite done. i got a nextreef mr1 moster duel chamber reactor that will be replacing the tlf ones that are in there now. i have added a few new fish and a lot of new coral. these pics are as of today and everything is only getting better in the tank!
so for the things i would have done different now having the tank up and running.....have it just a hair more off the wall, make the sump with one large filter sock instead of 2 small (which i can still do). other than that it is all perfect and doing amazing!

Ya it's been a while brother! How's everything? I'm sad to say I had to empty out my tank and shut it down for a while. Sold all the livestock and about half the rock yesterday.

Now that my daughter is out of treatment I have time to resurrect my build. I had so much fun with the initial build that I’m stoked to do it again with the new technology and products out.
My daughter absolutely loves the ocean and it’s inhabitants. This will be an amazing build to do with her!
