10' x 13' Fish Room is in progress:

Refugium will go on top shelf of steel rack. It will gravity feed to the sump that will be on a lower rack. The return pump (Iwaki 100RLT) will be off the stand where the iwaki box is in the pic. At the other end of stand I will have 16 outlets fed by 2 circuits for heaters, ATO and other equipment.

The 3 boxes stacked up will be a sink, where the table is I will have a counter top. Single box represents QT. I will have 8 outlets near it.

Trash cans represent water changing station. I'm thinking 200gallon each (fresh/salt) for water mixing station. (Full bucket mixing)

Any suggestions or am I missing anything in "Fish Room"? (Other than additional outlets)

245lbs of Pukani Dry Rock has been curing for 9+ weeks.

Drains in the floor would be a nice touch. I'm in the process of building my "fish room" and thats part of my plan.

TighTT. I agree. However I don't feel like cutting away my basement floor. I am going to have an ejected pump to remove the water from my sink. I also made it possible to raise the floor with 2x4s and add a drain under that.

I took a small step backwards after I realized I forgot to plumb the sink and power for the ejector. Got it roughed in this week, finished insulating and also added some canister lights the will light the refugium. I also ordered 10' of cabinets from HD yesterday.

After consulting with brother in-law, I decided to put the return pump outside the fish room for two reasons. 1) reduce the extra head pressure that would be associated with multiple bends (and maintain higher flow) 2) reduce room noise. Moved the switch and outlets to outside the room. Hung the majority of drywall as well.

QT's set up. Water change (2 X 210G) and ATO tanks arrived. Focus has moved to plumbing the DT. Top of tank done and under the tank is nearly done. Heading to the Michigan Frag swap for the day.
