I finally decided to try some of the clear filament that is out. I was hoping it would be a little more see through but it still looks pretty cool. Here is a comparison between black and the new clear. I like how it came out, and it feels very strong.

I've also made some with a cable grip to help keep the cable out of the way:

Very Cool! If that is T-glase filament, the Smooth-on company makes a 2 part resin that is specially designed to fill in between the layers and make the part almost completely transparent. Here's an article about it:

Interesting, it is actually colorfabb ngen. I do want to try out the tglase stuff next time. I dont know if the clearing trick would work with a part like this though because of the infill. Would be interesting to try out though.

Yeah, I think the infill would not allow transparent in any material. Looks nice anyways as it is. Where did you get the thumb screws?

Ciao,
i need an information as in Italy forum I'm not able to found it.

I would likr to print a separator for resistor and other grid in my nanoreef. I would like to print in PLA. Can you tell me if PLA is Ok to use underwater on a marine tank?

I like design object to print (like my http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1659724 )

PLA is fine. Some say it's biodegradable, but realistically that only happens over the course of many years. I use PLA underwater all the time, it works great.
