What I meant is if you wash the sand, you will overcome from the ultra fine issue

From my experience with it washing it first will not help much. It is still pretty fine sand. If you are not going to have a lot of flow in your tank then it would probably be fine.

How did you distribute the nozzle on your Display water tank in order to get the right water movement inside the tank?

Hi Steve
How did you distribute the nozzle on your Display water tank in order to get the right water movement inside the tank?

I have 4 returns on the back side of the tank. 2 on each half of the tank. They all point towards the ends of the tank that they are on and I have 1 MP60 Vortech and 4 MP40 Vortechs for flow.

I spent an hour this morning reading this thread from beginning to end. What an awesome build! This is the sort setup I would attempt if I had the money and the time... maybe someday. Great work.
