So my brother gave me a 93 Gallon cube 7 months ago so I am new to reefing. With that he gave me a radion gen 3 light, octopus skimmer, sump and a return pump. I had to replace the tank since I ended up with a big Crack. I replaced it with a 150 gallon planet aquarium tank. I currently have 2 vortech mp40 pumps and need to purchase another radion gen 3 light. My thread will have my progress so any recommendations would be appreciated. Thank you

This is my replacement for the 93 gallon. I've completed the legs of the stand but need to do the facing of the cabinet still. I also plan on organizing my cables and equipment. I waiting to buy my extra light. Probably getting another radion gen 3. Just waiting a few weeks cause of the cost.

Following along. In the process of building a PA 150 as well.
I also will be running Radions and a Reef Octapus Regal .
Looking for a 3rd Gen 3 Radion to go with the 2 I have currently.

Look forward to your build.

I like that you are using a metal stand. My brother has a 180 gallon tank with a metal stand that he got powder coated red.

Whatever works. As long as you give a good coating

Cleaned up the tank yesterday, did a 25 gallon water change, and moved some of the coral around in an attempt to make the tank look better.

Looks good.
Do you have a check valve on your returns?
How much do they back siphon by being in the tank so deep?

Not criticizing, just trying to gauge how I should set mine up.

I do not have a check valve. I did notice when I did my water change that my sump was all the way to the top. Luckily it didn't overflow although it was close. I will probably move them up some. And no worries, I'm open to criticism and suggestions.

You may want to consider shortening your loc-line a bit. That may help.

Made a rookie mistake and cracked my 55 gallon sump today trying to clean up the wiring. Mistake cost me 145 dollars to replace it.
