I figured it's about time I share my reef with you Reef2Reefers.

I have a 400g Starphire tank set up with a 60g anemone cube to its right. The 400g is a reboot. I started it up in Feb 2011 and a year later it leaked. It took 18 months to get it replaced, and now I'm going again. These pictures were taken on the 2 month anniversary of moving the livestock into their new homes.

The 400g is 84 x 36 x 30 with an external overflow box. The 60g cube is 24 x 24 x 24 with an internal overflow box. Both are plumbed into a common sump.

Yes, she is. And she still makes this tank look small when she's excited.

The 400g has Twin Arc metal halide bulbs with VHO actinics. Most of these images were under 20,000K spectrum. In the first picture, you can see the left end of the tank was lit with 10,000K bulbs at that particular time of day. My reef gets half the light cycle with 10,000K and then the other half with 20,000K.

Simply a GORGEOUS REEFTANK Sir, cannot wait to join the 400g+ Reef Club. Its going to be spectacular once those Acro's and Euphllyia mature.

Cheers, Todd

Thanks guys. I really enjoy looking at my reef daily (all day long, actually) and seeing it doing well.

Shouldn't you be building sumps "all day long actually". I was just talking to Todd about your tank and lighting cover yesterday. What a coincidence that you posted all these pictures today. :) I put some of your camera advice to use yesterday at his house. Thanks for the help.

Your tanks are stunning, and the images are magnificent.
