You have any cyano issues or anything over the past couple months?
I think that's a problem for me. I use glacier water because I don't have a RO anymore. But really thinking I may pick one up soon. Make things easier anyway, plus the water is probably 10x's better
I have a 300 gal mixed reef system and usually do a mass water change once a week of about 40-50 gallons. I started the regime of approx. 7-8 gallon a day water change for 5 days (mon-fri) last Tuesday(3/27), after reading about this here. I have to say it has only been a week and 2 days and I do see a difference in my Acans, zoas, acros, hammers, etc.. Thank you for sharing your experience here.
McCaroll, Lets say i have a 40 Gallon tank, 50 gallon total volume. I feed once or twice a week.
Parameters:
Nitrates are always "0"
Phosphates "0 - 0.25"
I dose Cal, Alk, Mag
strontium- 1x per week
Reef plus- 2x per week
What would be a good water change schedule?
cool. So 10% or 5% waterchanges? considering i gave 0 nitrates and 0 phosphates
