So my 60 gallon cube sprung a leak but luckily petco has a dollar per gallon sale going on and I don't have much money for a whole set up. all my live stock is in a 20 gallon tank right now so this is kind of an emergency build.
~stand
My buddy @Saybng is building my a stand and man I can't say enough good things about him and quality of work text him in the morning by the afternoon stand was almost done. He's going to have the stand done tomorrow or Tuesday told him he could take his time since the hole saw won't be here till Wednesday.

I have 2 questions....
1) why did ya install over flow on far left corner and a single return in other corner?
2) what's the size measurements of the acrylic pieces? I have some old glass here I can use...
Only asking cause I have 40b setup with overflow in center and dual returns...Was thinking about caping one off.
Got a 40b and 20l along with the the new synergy overflow for bday last weekend..

The overflow is 8x3x5 I made it as small as possible. As for placement I don't really have reasoning behind other than hiding them as high in the corners as possible but I did set up a powerhead under the return to push what ever is floating near the bottom up and then return pushes it to overflow
