bare bottom white or black starboard please read

I was thinking of doing a white bare bottom but I don't see much about it everyone uses black does anyone use White bare bottom please your comments will be appreciated

White will reflect up a lot of light thus taking away from corals.... That's also a reason why a lot of people are not using a generally light background

I usually see white but it's only for a few months and then it's all overgrown with coraline so in the long run, it doesn't really matter.

I had white SB on a previous 180 and for the 405 decided to go in black. While I agree that over time Coraline will encrust much of it, the black helps the coral color to pop while I always felt that the white made my tank look more washed out.

White because it will reflect the light on the inderside of the coral prevebting tissue loss
