i agree that you don't want crappy iodine, but iodine is iodine, as experienced by you since you bought the generic brand, so apparently you have found that the brand doesn't matter. Could be SeaChem at $20 a pop, or it could be the generic brand at walgreens.
my point stands, brand doesn't matter, buy the generic brand at walgreens, but if you are concerned about expensive zoas, just get Lugol's, it's the best you can get. And at the hospital, I assume you know that hospital purchasing will approve the lowest price brand that fits the needs of the surgical dept, so you get some cheap iodine slapped on you before surgery anyway.

I just bought some lugols a month or so ago. Thought a zoa had an infection. didnt do much.
Ive been thinking about revive after fragging...
Mostly because my frag tank isnt "established"

Mostly because my frag tank isnt "established"
both are basically an antiseptic. Try one on one and one on another. experiment. cheap frags are fun and taught me a lot.
