Hey, can you guys post some details on how you glue everything together and what adhesives you use? Do you clean the acrylics with anything first?

And troylee, at what temp and for how long did you heat that peice for. Thanks

Glue I use Weldon #3 with the pins and needles style....
Heating should be around 360* it takes about 10 min or so....
I couldn't tell you a exact temp I just go off the feel of the material when it is pliable I roll with it... It's more experince than anything I forgot way more than I will ever know.... Been doing it almost 20yrs.....

Thank you sir. I'm going to try my hand at some acrylic work. Hopefully it comes out halfway decent. Hey, even a blind squirrel gets a nut every now and again right.

Need help or got questions ask away man.... I love seeing you guys actually learn how to do this stuff by just looking at pics etc.... I wish the Internet was loaded with knolodge on the subject when I started... It would have saved me alot of material lol.. trial and error gets expensive quick....

Make sure you get a nice quality cast material such as acrylite gp, plexiglass G, or polycast...
Pretty much the rest is garbage and inconsisitant.... Which means gluing nice bubble free joints is almost out of the question and strength issues arise.....

Are the bubbles supposed to come out of the front that way. Maybe its the pic but almost looks like there's an air leak from the front of the pump. Can we get a foam pic and a pic of the skimmate

The pump is inside the body so what your seeing is the bubbles being pulled down from above the bubbleplate from the current inside to the exit plumbing... There is no air leaks...;)
