It does for sure fill up the body nicely with "Milk" per say. I did go out and grab my dwyer from the garage to see what the pump is doing. I went pretty mild on the venturi as it is basically a stock coralvue venturi. Aquamaxx from marine depot. I was going to make one for it but when you go much bigger on the inlet diameter of venturi, you have to be carefull. The sicce pumps do not have a lot of torque and being its an internal pump I didnt want to be taking it apart all the time. Oh, and yes the whole thing comes apart for cleaning. I know the Larger venturi like used on the WM k2 skimmer uses a .75 in inlet. Mine is using a .56 id inlet. What does that mean for me. I could probably get 40scfh out of this pump pretty easy if I wanted too. Where right now I am getting a really smooth 32 to 34 scfh. so about 900 to 950 lph of air with 0 issues. no startup issues, no rotational issues. Cant hardly complain about that.

Can you tell us what the total cost for materials was for the 2 when all said and done? Obviously the labor would add a lot, but I'm interested to see what just the materials cost.

Very nice job btw! I'm not sure that I could run one of these if I managed to pull it off. I might have to buy a museum box and leave it out just to look at. :)

Not yet. It was in PA last I checked . I'm still debating how I'm going to hack it up though. I'll figure something out, however I'm sure it won't be as pretty as yours. lol
