SCIENTIFIC NAME - Chaetodontoplus Melanosoma

COMMON NAME - Black Velvet Angelfish (Gray Poma)

SIZE - 6.7" (17 cm )

MIN. AQUARIUM SIZE - 55 US Gal (208 L)

FOODS AND FEEDING - Varied diet, Spirulina, marine algae, Mysid shrimp, various high quality marine meaty food.

REEF COMPATIBILITY - May eat soft corals and nip at large polyped stony corals, Zoanthids, and clam mantles.

CAPTIVE CARE - Keep with non-aggressive tank mates and plenty of hiding places. Will browse on filamentous algae and diatoms growing on hard surfaces.
