I have a little 8 gallon tank that I do not want to add an additional powerhead to. Is it possible to attach this to my lock-line return? It says it comes with multiple attachment options.

Probably not directly. I rigged these to my old Penguin powerheads using a little section of 3/4" vinyl tubing as a coupling.

Yeah, I liked them. For the cost, they're a great way to bring plain old powerheads to your reef. (I wouldn't buy powerheads just to use these, however. Buy some propellor pumps.)

IMO, you'd actually lose a bit of flow pressure. I preferred the Y adapter.

It was worth the pressure loss....which didn't seem too much. The variablility from the rotating flow is actually pretty nice....especially in a smaller tank.

I only ran them on 150 GPH powerheads. As long as you clamp them in place, you can use them on pretty large pumps too. ;)

Only looking to move water over a 15x11x11" area so if I can utilize the small return pump which is throttled down then that might be ok overall.
