Lesson 462 I guess; don't spot feed liquid zooplankton to a chalice.

This happened with a Monti-cap as well.

With all my flow off, of a night, I'm used to spot feeding certain species, namely my sun corals, acans, galaxia, blastos, trumpets, etc.. Usually it's mysis or brine shrimp.

Recently I mixed in some Seachem Zoo Plankton.

Where it settled it killed.

The flow was only off a few minuets. I guess in concentrate, as opposed to a broadcasted feeding in a moving water column, it was too much. Perhaps a pH issue, or too nutrient rich. I have no idea.

Definitely some tissue loss. Was thinking of a quick Lugols dip, just to clean the wound. I think it'll bounce back though, for sure.

Here's the Monti damage. This was with the Seachem Phyto liquid, same process. It too is bouncing back.

Thanks for sharing your lesson learned. Those items generally contain aminos in concentrate form.

My mycedium robokaki has come back from worse than yours.

I love the fixtures @twilliard. Have not found the right mix or program yet, but am in no real hurry.

I just burned 4 acans with that crap last night.. its not a bad batch I guess that crap does that.. it would be nice if seachem would start putting this information on the dam label.. NOT to spot feed their product.. ridiculous! I'm very ticked.. its food i shouldn't have to worry about hurting my corals by feeding them..
