What size tank? What kind of lighting did you have before?

For a 10 gallon, Id say like 2 hermits, 2-3 rock/glass dwelling snails, 1-2 nassarius snails, and the pep.

As far as crabs the best and safest I have found are the scarlet hermits. I have never seen them outright attack snails and excellent scavengers.

Snails - Definately get a mix of astrea, cerith and nassarius. Maybe throw some trochus and margaritas too.

I've had problems with crabs eating snails in my tanks, now I just have snails as they take care of algae on the rocks. So far I have 2 in my 24 gallon nano because its hard to find ones that aren't humongous around here.
