I decided to go to T5/mh and no longer need this light. It's in excellent condition and is completely customizable. It comes with the controller/timer and a remote control. With a total of 90 led lights, there isn't much you can't grow with this light. I have a red sea reefer 250 and it did great, tons of coralline growth. This light was around $450 brand new. I'm asking $220 shipped. It does not have the expandable legs, I had it hanging so the cables are still attached for hanging. 20170216_220313.jpg 20170216_220320.jpg 20170216_220330.jpg 20170216_220427.jpg

I'm about to set up a 40 long. Will this cover the length?

It won't go end to end, but the spread will certainly cover it if you have it raised up enough. You can adjust the intensity to account for the distance raised

41" long, the light itself is 36", but the spread would be plenty. There are 90 leds so you can raise it up to cover the entire area and then turn up the intensity to make up for the difference. I never ran the light at maximum power, even 18" above the water line. You could definitely make it work

If your in Tampa and need a light Marine Wharehouse on Hillsborough Ave is have a 35% off sale on current stock of the marine. As they are switching to the pro exclusively. My wife and I got the 36 - 48 for $130 after the discount.
