Cyano? Diatom? Dino? help :)

I started this 20 gallon tank less than a month ago, been running lights 12 hours a day, this stuff popped up and now its releasing some kind of bubble on some of it. please tell me what it is :) Note: it looks more green in photo.. it really looks mostly brown to me

Looks like algae cycling. 12 hours is a long time for lights. I may be wrong, but most people run 8-9 hours a day. Long light times will often result in algae growing a lot. If you trim your light time down and you have a cleanup crew, the algae should reduce to a manageable level.

Thanks, I just changed the timers to do 7 hours a day, we'll see if that helps.
