Well yesterday the CP-25 was delivered to my house and at the same time we lost power for 3 hours.:mad:

Luckily I have a generator and was able to get the tank up and running with no issues. But I just wanted to play around with my new pump!

So after the power got back on i plugged in the CP-25 and put it in my 60 gal. This thing barley pushed any water. If you had this in a 29 bio cube it MAY have been okay. Im not sure if the pump was broken or what but it would push out the smallest amount of water o_O probably why they are only around 100$

So I contacted the seller and he told me he would swap out the 25 with the 40 and claims i will not have any of those issues. So sometime next week ill have a CP-40 pump.

Also next week Wednesday ill have my shipment of snails. I guess theres been alot of rain in FL or something and has thrown the PH off so peppermint shrimps haven't been as readily available.

Will see what happens next week

Alright got the new CP-40 in and its working great. Some people tell me they have this on their 200+ gal systems i just dont feel it pushes out that much water? At least compared to the Gyre. will see how it holds up over time for $100 it was a no brainier it does the pulse mode no problem so their was no need for the wifi controller def good for my frag tank.

Got in a TOOOOOOOOON of snails / shrimps / crabs! got them acclimated this am and put them in the tank when i get home ill snap some pictures i think i went overboard lol. I did get a sea cucumber to help with the sand he is a big fella. Im worried that the peppermint shrimp are to small and will get eaten by my huge apthasia. but will see

Ontop of that ordered myself some Calcium and Alk test kits. going to get back on this 2 part dosing and get these tanks turned around!

Alright well here we go lol

I took down the 60 gal rimless it killed me to do it but it was effecting the main display tank. So i sold the tank and moved the CP-40 over to the main display. I put (2) WP-40s in the sump to move some water around down there. I put one gyre vertical n the left side and i have the other one horizontal on the right. The CP-40 is on the back right vertical. the CP-40 doesnt really push that much water so im not really counting on that. Anyone have any suggestions i had them both mounted horizontally but the water was just crashing in the middle i didnt think it was too efficient idk any suggestions would be great!

Sorry for the terrible pic since adding the new WP to the sump its pushed alot of dirt into the display i put a new filter sock in so it should clear up soon

Well the tank is bouncing back will see what happens

As for the filefish well hes gone he decided he wanted to try to eat all my acans after a few days i caught him and returned him. I now have 5 tiny little nudis in there hoping they will demolish the aptasia.

But for the good news i was able to get my hands on
Maxspect XF250 Advanced Controller

i have noticed the controller is hitting spots that have had dirt on it that were not being hit by the 150s on pulse mode.

So the random mode is working great!
