The fish are in The tang looks amazing as its supposed to. The 2 shrimp are HUGE!!! Good divers den pickup! the potters wrasse is also looking good have him in an acclimation box!

Ahhhhh soo get this
2 days ago the wife convinced me to put the tank up for sale. Its been a down hill slop. So I agreed and put it online. 2 days later, yes 2 days later i get this email:

You signed up on our Trident product page to be notified when we had a Trident available for sale. I’m excited to let you know that we have one available for you!
Needless to say the tank has been taken down from said selling websites and a$1k $2k (just checked invoice lol) order has been placed to #MakeMyReefGreatAgain lol hahaha
Im so excited im sure my wife on the other hand is not lol

Man I am so excited cleaned up the fish room today, cleaned out the sump and filtration, adjusted some flow back at it can't wait till Tuesday when it all arrives!!! Got enough stuff to replace all my RODI stuff, Setup a dosing station with 2 part Bionic, and clean some glass lol

Got all my goodies in from @Bulk Reef Supply a ton of Neptune Systems Equipment!!!
Today we installed:
A New Neptune ApexEL
+ Trident
+ DOS (wilting for 1Link cable before I do calibration)
+ Configured the 2 Bionics containers for Dosing containers just need to cut pipe that goes inside
+ Replaced every single thing in my RODI unit ;Stig
Fresh new start

So hooking up the Trident was super duper easy. Watch the videos, follow the steps bam you're done.
However my readings are off the chart;Wideyed;Wideyed!!
+ Alk - 5.58
+ CA - 611
+ MG - 1857
These were however the initial 2 test. Neptune recommends running the unit for 72 hours than running it in the calibration solution. So before I start dosing or doing anything im going to let this run for a few days, then calibrate it.
After than time to work on fixing the levels!
However my readings are off the chart;Wideyed;Wideyed!!

Also built up my dosing 5 gal jugs today and calibrated my dos. Found out my calibration fluid for my salinity was old and way off that’s why my readings are though the roof. Working on making water now doing a massive water change tonight.

So after a few days with the trident i went ahead and calibrated it. After calibration my levels were still high. Thinking this through i dont dose anything so my salt levels have to be screwed up. I have been using this refractometer calibration fluid for about 2-3 years now maybe more and i have a feeling its bad. Well got some new fluids from BRS and my hunch was true. Salt levels were through the ROOF!!
So last night i did a 45-50 gal water change and today i did another 50 gal water change. Its now at a manageable level. I will be making more water over night to do one small change tomorrow which should get me to where i need to be.
Once i have the salt right ill let the trident run for maybe another 7 days and start my dosing 2 part Bionic.

Got my awesome engineers to 3D print me off some dosing tube holders! Going to be printing one extra Neptune trident clip so I can use it on the waste line. Yeaaah 3D printing lol

Alright levels are starting to become normal now that my salt level is finally where it needs to be. Im wondering if i should also start 75ml of CAL to get the system used to dosing? Thoughts?
Current readings are :
ALK is 5.63 not sure why the bottle wont update?
Im amazing by this DoS. Dosing right on the exact moment it should not a second too soon or too late. So far im pretty happy with this guy. just looking to see what i can do for alerting for the dosing. Ill let the tank go for another 7 days with these new readings and than ill setup the DoS to do trident based dosing!
testing out this new tubing adapter for apex. works good with apex tubing not so much with the other colored tubing
