I like the open back aka fish room. what I'm going to highly recommend HIGHLY recommend is having front access. it may not be bad on the 12o but its a PAIN to get into my tank from the back. i only really access it from the front. If i were you i would put front access panels on your in wall. i talked to a couple people that didn't have it and they said if they could do it over they would have front access. I really liked the picture frame but not that i have the front access i am so happy i tried accessing it from the back and its hard you have to have 2 people or be able to use a picker stick while trying to see your reflection off the front glass its super hard lol

It's planned on a wall where the front will be facing the living room and the back will be in the aquarium room- quarantine tank and live rock tanks. So accesses from both sides will be possible. I'm going to flush it on the front side with the wall and build the walls out on the back.
Think I have a lot more planning to do, but I will definitely plan front accesses in. Thanks!

I spent tons and tons of time planning this and doing tons of research here is one of the sites i used:
http://www.advancedaquarist.com/2007/9/tips

ontop of that thread i looked through HUNDREDS of large build threads on reef2reef to get the best of every build and try to put it in my build.

The only thing that was a pain was the LED light rails. i would def NOT use T-Track again. if anything it would maybe be an industrial sliding door frame its just to much of a pain to do the t track

Thank you and especially for the sliding doors idea. I had not thought of that but will definitely incorporate it into my design.

Since finding out @Total Plastics Inc. had an office right around the corner from me I reached out to them to get some frag racks going in my tank. After going over the prices which were really reasonable i skipped the racks with the holes and just did some sheets of acrylic on some acrylic rods.

I just cut the rod with a circular saw and @Total Plastics Inc. precut the acrylic sheet. I used super glue to glue everything together which worked great. I still have about 10 pieces of acrylic left. I tired cutting holes in a piece i have but the drill bit i was using didn't really work well. it worked but it was alot of work. will see if i can come up with something else maybe with my dremel?

Thanks again @Total Plastics Inc. !!!

Hey let me know if you need some i have a TON of left over sheets already cut down to whatever i mentioned above. I think i may have like 8+ sheets. The rods you may have to buy but those you can get anywhere im running low on those. To cut those i use wireless saw worked quick and easy. Tried a table saw that didnt work. I bet the coral saw would work prefect.
