Hi guys,
I think this is my first thread on here. Anyway, I currenty have a 70 gallon SPS dominated reef(about 18 months old) and I finally decided to get a real sump!!! Instead of the 20 gallon glass tank I am using I decided on the Eshopps 3rd. Gen. R-100 refugium sump.
I had to take some measurments to be sure my Reef Octopus Classic 110 skimmer would fit in the skimmer compartment. It does!! So I placed the order.
I am hoping to get better filtration with this sump, as water is not allowed to wander around where ever it so desires anymore!
About 70-80% of the water is directed right to the skimmer. About aprox. 20-30% goes through the refugium.
I have never been one much for fancy pants sumps, but I think I can benefit from this sump and it was affordable!
Im new here, so I will try and post some pics now. IF the pic does not load..........hey, I will try again!
Thank you
