Tank is 108 gallons with a 31 gallon sump. Tank measures 59"L x 22"H x 22.6"W.

Lots of rocks, caves, and sand going in the tank. Lots of LPS, SPS, and soft corals. Also was thinking some sponges, and clams. Maybe an anemone. Snails, shrimp and critters. Looking into filtration add ons to the sump and skimmer. Maybe a couple reactors.

I would love to hear some suggestions here. Im thinking about 1 dwarf angel, 1 foxface, 1 butterfly, 2 tang, 4 athenia, 2 wrasse, 1 dragonette, 1 blenny, 1 goby, 2 clowns.

All fish going in the DT, going fishless sump. Thanks!

Sponges are abig part of angelfish and many butterfly diets. Clams are also in danger from both groups of these fish.

Would you mind putting together a species list based on the fish I liked above? Proper ammount of fish ratio as well. Im not sure where im at with that. I think I havent over stocked, but like opinions.

Or, what would you stock the tank with :)

It's really all personal preference. T

The flame is a safer dwarf angel as far as nipping coral goes, but is still a risk. Coral beauties and flamebacks are also safer angel choices.

Pyramid butterfly is also mostly reef safe. But other options would include heniochus or the longnose.

For tangs, my preferences for your sized tank would be the purple and yellow eye kole tang. The ylow and tomini tang would be other options.

Squammipinnis and bartletts are the hardiest of the social anthias, but also fairly feisty, instead I would recommend dispar or randalls.

There are a lot of good wrasse options for that sized tank. Any of the flasher species, most of the fairy species would be good and won't compete with the dragonet for pods. Just make sure to utilize a tight fitting lid. Wrasses are big time jumpers.

My favorite dragonet is the psychedelic mandarin. But let your tank mature for at least six months, preferably longer before adding any dragonet.

You can't go wrong with gobies. Nearly all can be mixed well in a community tank.

Blennies have a ton of personality and are always a hit. A starry, orange spot, midas, or stigmatura would be great.

For clowns, I favor the size and personality of the percula/ocellaris complex.

I don't think you will be overstocked, but each tank is different. Add fish slowly, and test your parameters frequently.

Te powder blue can be one of the more aggressive tang species, especially so in a tank that size.

Yes, pretty much the same.

So Acanthurus are the more aggressive of the genera?

Thanks for the help with the tangs. Moving onto the anthias now. Thinking a harem of 4 female and a male. Choice is between theBartlett, Red saddle, Princess, or Ignitus. I want them to swim everywhere in the tank in formation :) dont want anthias that hang out at the bottom of the tank. Price not a big deal, but best looking, tank friendly, disease resistant, eating habits, are all targets.

Not sure yet they arrive next week. I'll let you know though. From what I've read they will only pick on each other.
