I have seen a couple of question about what is the best dry food to feed a mixed reef tank? What is the latest product out there?

I have be doing some reading and there are all kinds of different products out there from Reef frenzy to basic flakes to pellets. I have a busy schedule and some time I am not around at feeding time. I do have and Apex and I am going to get an auto feeder but I am not finding the right all around product to feed my fish when I miss a feeding time or need to leave for a couple of days. I have seen liquids for dosing pumps, but I would like to find a freeze dried product that I can use in a auto feeder that is a mixed product. Or do I mix my own freeze dried combination? and what is available out there that is Freeze dried.

am I asking to much?

Good thread!
I too have been asking myself these same questions. I use New Life Spectrum sinking pellets (medium size) for tropical fish, Cobalt freeze dried brine shrimp, some veggie pellets (can't remember name right now). I use these intermittently for variety of foods. I bought the eheim auto feeder and was planning on mixing all 3 for that feeder.

I'm always up better products, especially if they are healthier choices for my fish.

Purchased a small amount of the New Life Spectrum Thera+A now for the dried shrimp. Brine or mysis?
