To add to that he eats perfectly swims happily and it doesnt seem to bother him other than every now and then he will rub himself up against a rock and he also lets my cleaner shrimp clean him. Im afraid i wojld stress him out even more if i were to try to give him a fw dip.

The only way to get ich out of your system is to set up a qt tank , cycle it and take your fish out of your DT and let it sit fallow for 72 -76 days is what I was told

Can you put all the fish in qt tank at once? Also how big of a tank does the qt tank need to be?

I think you would have to set up two qt tanks cause some wrasse don't do good in copper and not sure about the dartfish ! But you can probably do a 30 gallon for the 2 tangs and 2 clowns depending on how big they are and a 10 gallon for the wrasse and dartfish

Then those two sizes should be fine IMO, just get hob filters , heaters, powerheads , cheap thermoters (glass with suction cup) and ammonia alert badges

This was really tough to read through. The last thing you want to do with a stressed out sick fish with ick is throw it in a fw dip. For one it does not kill the ick as its been proven time and time again, and two, if the fish is stressed out the last thing you want to do is stress it out more. There are three options really imo, copper, hyposalinity or feed it with garlic, selcon, dr g's medicated foods. But please stop fw dipping this poor fish. If its not eating and just laying on the surface its most likely not going to survive at this point. The thing about ick is if you over react its always the fish that gets the butt end of the reaction.

I use cupramine and you would need to get the copper test kit as well to keep the levels up
