Here are a couple more pics. I'm having a lot of trouble with Photo Bucket. Do you guys put your pics somewhere else to get them into the forum?

gpwdr, how long have you had the giesemann infiniti moonlight?

See that you have it up for sale. Any particular reason and what direction are you heading?

Tank is incredible, curious about the change.

Thanks,

M
The giesemann infinity moonlight, IMO is the best lighting in the world, with the full spectrum giesemann bulbs. They come the closest to sunlight than any other lighting.
I'm trying out three kessil A360WE. Hoping to slow down the high growth rate from the giesemann.
You know corals love the sunlight. A lot of aquarist think coral like blue light.

Wow that is amazing growth, but I think you will have major die-off with those LEDs especially the under-side of those massive colonies.

Thanks for the background Gene. We should have swapped!

I have 3x A360NE's over my 120 DT. Love the controllability, point source lighting, lack of heat and low energy cost, but I'm just not seeing the growth I would like and have been toying with a return to metal halides. When going back through the history of NO, VO, VHO, PowerCompact and T5 fluorescents; Eco Tech and Kessil LED's as well as old school Hamilton pendants and unsupplemented Giesemann metal halides - the best growth I felt I ever experienced was with the Giesemanns... then again I may just be waxing nostalgic!

Tank is new (only 3 months old) and is running the full Triton system, although the lights were over it's predecessor for 6 months before the tank failed.

Please continue to keep us updated. Your tank is inspirational and worthy of emulation!

Mike
