Hey guys,
Quick question on these LED units, anyone have an experience with them? Positive or negative? Worth saving the money and going with these? Looking to have an SPS dominated reef, maybe a maxima. Can these lights support that? Please help! Looking to save some money, broke college life is too real.
Thanks for reading.

Hopefully someone knows something, I also just looked into the MarsAqua 300w LED unit. Now I'm torn on which unit I like better. Anyone have any input on either? What the best option would be?

I've been using an equivalent light fixture for almost a year now. I will say the explosions of sps growth is over whelming. Nothing wrong with those LEDs except for the wifi app. You have to be on your homes wifi network PRIOR to opening the app. What happens is the app will disconnect you from your home network and connect to the light fixture. IF you aren't connected to your homes wifi, you will have issues. But it beats spending $700 on one light fixture that won't grow sps as equally well...

I am new to R2R and I know this thread is a little old. But if people are still wanting to talk about them, I will start a new thread.

Not sure what version of phone or wifi app for the light you are using but once you connect and enter the password, disconnect from the LED. Close the LED app. Connect to your home wifi. Then open the app.

It should automatically disconnect from the home wifi and connect to the light.

I am using a s8+ and an android based notebook. Niether downloaded the app that was supposed to. My stepsons ipad did though. I used the barcode on the light. The app came up, but then when i download it it goes to some chinese page with cartoons and other vids.
I attached an image of the app, the second image is what the icon downloads as. I will post a pic of what it opens to if you want?

Here try this one. Just grabbed it off my Galaxy S4, I no longer have the light but the app was still on my old phone.

Ok sorry it's all I had to control my light, it's only about a year and a half old. Good luck on your search.
