Would anyone be able to tell me the max spread of the radion xr30. Per pod. I have a tank that is 36 inches long and 24 inches deep. Need to know if that will be enough light. Thanks !

Depends on the corals you keep.
EM gives a 24x24 spread but most ppl went with two radions on a 36" tank.
Is it possible yes but keep corals under the radion.

So what's the spread for each pod? Is the whole light a 24 inch spread or just one pod?

The whole light is 24x24 if we talking a radion XR3o.
I believe the XR15 are 18x18 and that's one pug

Are you looking at the pro's? IMO, you might be better off with 2 XR15 pro's. That is what most users with 36" tanks are doing. You won't get enough spread with 1 xr 30 & 2 is a bit much. The pucks on the 30's are close together which prevents it from getting the same spread as 2 15's. I believe the xr15 pro's are rated about 24" spread vs the xr30 pro's as 30". I'm using the xr15 pro on a 24" & it covers the edges just fine. You have to account for your rock work also so you may be able to get by with a 30 if you wish.

Not mine. The sides are definitely less bright then the center. The picture makes it look more noticeable but in person it is hard to tell.

how high is the tank. you can put the wide angle lenses on it and the spread would be 36x36 if im not mistaken but reduces par if youre tank is higher than 24"

At 8 to 10 inches off the water what is your output percentage? I have my lights on RMS support arms. Should I be at 100%. Or 50%?
