Looks likes flukes or a bacterial infection. The apot seems odd for a bite, and i would guess that the goby would bother with a goby, but its possible. Any way to get a closer picture?

What color is the spot, looks red in the pic.

They are known to have this kind of problem. My exp is that chromis that get this usually have a low chance of survivability.

They arent very hardy fish, but do you know what the problem actually is? Has to be something treatable.

Looks like the same thing my blue damsel had, could have been bacterial infection or Uronema Marinum. Humblefish suggested metroplex and kanaplex treatment. It may be to late but I would get it out of tank ASAP you do not want that in your tank.

This problem came from fish stores overcrowding these chromis and the general practice of using chromis as a test fish in new tanks.
