Corals are doing so much better than I've ever had. Still progress to be made but I'm quite pleased so far. Is that Duncan growing new heads/polyps?

I did add a trio of lyre tail anthias (ty Dr. Reef) and a flame hawkfish. The male anthias still has trouble feeding but it's accepting mysis regularly now.

On a sad note, the major storms that went through Houston knocked my power out for 5 days and I lost a Lubbock's Wrasse and flame hawkfish when I was having trouble getting my generator to operate.

A pair of clowns and another hawkfish coming soon courtesy of Dr. Reef again.

Peculiar test results today

Po4 .38, up from the usual of ~.15 to .2
No3 1.9, down from the usual of ~10 to 15

While .38 isn't urgent, I'm going to start adding a drop or two of LC when I feed.

My alk continues to naturally rise daily, I guess it's from the carbon dosing effect on nitrates. So I've been dosing a few mL's of muriatic acid each night

Any suggestions or other input would be welcome

Thought the tank liked pretty good tonight... Might delete later idk :beaming-face-with-smiling-eyes:

Looks like the coral are really starting to grow... So cool to see after taking care of it for the past 9 months or so.

That pssamocora in the last picture (the encrusting not the branching) was one of the first SPS I put in. It went to the brink of death and is now coming back!

Thought I'd post a few pictures I've taken recently.

Some Duncan babies :beaming-face-with-smiling-eyes:

Zoas have been producing new polyps pretty well:

Could someone ID this? I thought it was a chalice but I don't remember well enough.

ICP test came back. Most things are fine, but looks like I need to keep an eye on a couple things.
Phosphate and nitrate. I resumed my carbon dosing (TM's Elimi-NP) to help bring those down.
I also replaced my mixed bed DI resin - that should help with the silicates and etc. I think it'll help with some of the other stuff, like tin and zinc. Correct me if I'm wrong on that please.

My calcium is no concern yet, right?

Oh interesting! Looks like there's something on the rocks in that zoa picture. It doesn't look entirely like an aiptasia though, hmm... any idea?
