50 g QT tank with HOB filter and ammonia badge. Heater and power heads and airstone.

Stock List:
2 small Clowns
1 Royal Gamma
1 small Foxface
1 small Hippo tang
1 med Powder Blue Tang

They went in to QT on September 22nd, and since then have been treated with multiple rounds of Prazipro and Cupramine.

They eat like horses, dont flash and dont swim into the powerhead stream. All has been well since the first signs of ich left the Hippo tang a week after treatment began. None of the other inhabitants have any signs of disease.

Yesterday I noticed my hippo has what appears to be an ever so slight bulge onhis side and a white-ish gray spot on the same. The spot is not granular like ich or a piece of salt, rather poorly defined edges and a bit larger. Like a mondo zit that needs to pop. Didn't think to snag a pic at the time.

Any ideas? I am less than 10 days away from the 72 day fallow goal and would love to get these guys back in the tank but wont do it if there is still a nasty hanging around...

Because of the bulge in the side I thought it was a parasite of some kind. I have seen that protrusion like symptom on the side of the Powder Blue as well. Wouldn't say I am panicked but I love to learn so here I am crowd sourcing..

Thanks Empress. I will post a picture soon. I do not believe it is lympho as the white spot is not raised like the nodules I see here. Also, wouldn't it be odd for lympho to exist for weeks and weeks both in the DT and QT only to show itself now?

Thanks all, happy Thanksgiving

That doesn't sound like Lymph. I'm trying to remember where I saw something like the before, but I'm drawing a blank. Try to get a picture up as that will help tremendously.

Not a great video, iPhone 6 is all I got.

Today it looks more like ich, surprising because I dose 20 drops of Cupramine per 5 gallons when doing water changes and have done since September 22nd... shouldn't I have gotten it all??

API kit isn't exactly a breeze to read. It looks to be in the 1 mg/l range

The 20 drops per gallon direction is directly from Seachem - worth mentioning.

It's because the API kit won't read low enough for cupramine. You need the seachem there's another brand but I seem to never be able to remember it) test kit to ionic copper like cupramine.
