When using prazi to treat turbellarians: Dose once, wait 7 days, do a 25% WC and then dose again. If worms reappear after that use formalin instead.

When using formalin to treat turbellarians: Administer a 45 min bath and then transfer the fish into a sterile QT. Wait 7 days, and then rinse & repeat.

You always want to transfer the fish into a new/sterile QT after each formalin bath to prevent reinfection. I advise against prolonged exposure to formalin by treating in-tank.

Two Formalin treatments in total?

Ok so I still see some pepper like spots on the blue tang.

The CBB seems to be getting better but has a lot of damage to its skin. Could take time to heal. I still have more than a month left for my display to remain fallow so I have time to figure this out.

@Hummblefish, how do I get Formalin?

Where are the pepper spots on the blue tang? They have what I call "freckles" on the face that are normal.

Formalin can easily be found in Quick Cure by Mardel if that helps.

What would be the best way to utilize this product?

Because it also contains methanol & malachite green chloride, I would perform a 45-60 minute bath using the mfg directions:
Add one (1) teaspoon (~5 mL) of Ich-X to 10 gallons of aquarium water.

Did a 60-70% water change last night and added the carbon back. Copper tested at zero before change so it's good.

CCB is healing.

Blue tang still has the small grey/ brownish spots.

Really? You don't think it's those worms still? I haven't tried anything other than the Parazipro on him thus far for that.

It does look some better actually. What if I take the fish out to try and get a better photo? He eats and looks pretty good otherwise.

A good quality current picture might be helpful. Though I hesitate to say take him out of the water for it.
