You went from having a polyp there when the lights went out to the polyp being completely gone the next morning?

Can you post a pic?

Now you might not see it but there is what I believe is a fire worm there he might be the suspect I tried to get him but off in the rock he went you think a coral dip will get him off and I think I'm gonna try and dip every thing is that safe

And these polyps were open and happy yesterday? It wouldn't be the first time a crab has gotten a taste for corals, but that's quite a few to disappear in one night.

Definitely sounds like they were eaten. Check the tank after dark with a red light and see if anyone is lurking near them.

It's really hard to say unless you catch whatever is eating them in the act. It could be one (or all) of your crabs. It could also be something you aren't aware of being in the tank. It's pretty frustrating, I know. If you can catch the crab, move it to your sump for a while and see what happens. If polyps stop disappearing you likely found the culprit.

The only time i have ever seen my emralds be a problem is when i had a stylo in my tank that was dieing and the crabs would eat the dead flesh, i have tons of zoas in my tank and never been an issue. I dont think fire worms or bristle worms would be the cause either, those are pretty common in any tank and are pretty harmless to coral. That crab you found, see if you can find it on the lionfishlair.com website or melevsreef.com. They have a ton of resources for hitchhikers.
