240G front Drop off tank

I'm from Malaysia, penang island

4 years ago I have a 3ft reef tank.

This was year 2011

After 5years of keeping 3ft, finally one day I planned to give it a try for upgrading. Who knows after 2015 my new tank never been up [emoji51]

Until one day saw one post by reef builder

And I say I want one too!!

Here's the plan.
5ft with front drop.
28inch high
15inch drop down with total 43inch high on the drop down

Equipment
Old skimmer deltec 2560
2pcs old mp40
1 new mp10QD for drop off
Cheap return pump Jebao DC12000
Lighting 2pcs AI52hd for 5ft and 1pcs 26hd for drop off.

Since this is custom build and a lot of shop decline to do it.
And finally one day found a old uncle glass maker that willing to take this challenge since no one ever build this in my area.
Old uncle. Draw and show the picture to him also don't understand at all so no choice I have to build one miniature cardboard tank show him

Hire aircond guy to drill hole on wall to fix 1hp outdoor chiller unit

Fix aircond coil to titanium coil sit in sump

Thermostat controller to control the outdoor unit

@psidriven the left chamber I do another small tank for me keep either seahorse or future frag sps. Return pump water will split one to the first chamber

Here's the left most part of my sump

Currently only sump runs on RO water while waiting for main tank comes

If you have copper pipe brazed to the chiller coil so close to the sump water you might want to epoxy coat the copper? Splashes ext. Could lead to copper contamination?
