@Cruz_Arias

I think I got it Cruz :D
I changed the output nozzle to a loc line flare to generate pressure and it produces tons of bubbles
In fact I moved the air stone wayyy further as it was creating havoc

I don't know if this has been asked, but how far can I run an air line to make it outside?

My sump is is the basement, and I don't really have any windows close to it. Also, does running an airline outside work? Do you just stick it outside and run it inside, or what?

Finally, had anyone tried with while also using zeovit?

Thanks

There should be a storm window in the basement. Or a basement escape window.

In regards to running zeovit and zeolite, no issues as of yet that's been documented.

I have windows in the basement, but the closest is probably 8' from my sump, so I'm not sure if my air pump will be able to draw air that far. That is my concern.

Thanks for the quick reply.

It should be easy. What type of pump do you have?

If it's greater than 3psi, the airpump should have no problem. :)

That's the beauty of pressure, pressure at the air pump = pressure at the air stone, provided that there are no kinks in the airline. :)

I have a tetra whisper, but I'm not sure which one.

Which one would be required to get 3 psi?

The Tetra Deep Water Versions or the Coralife Luft Pump is what we typically suggest. Or even the Tom's Aqualifter Pump.
We control the air volume with an airline valve...

How are things going, @Abhishek ? :)

Things are going pretty smooth I guess @Cruz_Arias .
Am now scrubbing from 9 pm to 6 am in the morning.
Immediate benefits :- Increased and more stable pH, water appears clean and much more transparent. Glass appears way cleaner.
And the rocks and sand are staying clear.
As far as algae removal goes, I have combined manual scrubbing of the rocks and manually blowing them with a turkey baster and after a week of fight, finally think am getting the hold of it.

All in all , am pretty happy with micro scrubbing !!!

Abhishek

Is there significant bubbles popping in the DT or how do you have it setup? :)
No just a haze on dt, had to put Lee's stone in return section of sump since I don't have baffles just partitions. It's probably just from salt creep but I worked the last 3 days and water level is much lower than normal. I have auto top off unit but haven't set it up yet :/

Get the ATO plumbed up soon! :)
Salinity should return back to normal 1.026 when RO is returned.

For a quick fix, we use a 5 gallon pail with an air line valve to slow drip into the sump... 10 drops / minute should suffice...

AIO tank system? Did you calibrate the refractometer? What did you calibrate it with?
