Looks good far, look forward to watching the progression of the tank and filtration... fish too!!!
With this set up I'm actually trying to go back to the reason why I got in to "FISH"tanks..... key word FISH....its going to be a reef tank but my main focus is definitely the fish.

I used paper towels socked in water over the paper for about 18hrs making sure to spray it with water every couple of hours, that didn't work so I switched to vinegar and that didn't work so I moved on to rubbing alcohol and it started to make a difference but way to slow so my wife suggested nail polish remover........my original statement was " Are you crazy WOMAN".......so she took a cotton swab without me knowing and cleaned a small portion and said....."Told you so.....CHICKEN"...........and that was the trick, it came off like nothing..........i was pleasantly surprised that it didn't ruin the acrylic.........im little sore about the "I told you so" part............

I also started playing with PVC. I'm going with a bean animal set up....... (I know about the missing holes in the caps).

I ran out of steam so I needed some unleaded coffee in my favorite coffee mug and then back to work

I need a small brace under the right side of the plywood and add the small piece of wood and insulation and I should be able to bring the 250gl tank and start turning it in to a sump...."Exiting"

Looking good. I like the sleekness of my Gyres. I laughed with your stand floor fitting. I measured once, cut thrice and grabbed a hammer to fit the floor around the uprights. Needless to say, it sure is snug. [emoji1]

Lol......I swear that I measured each cut like 4 times and still had to redo a couple of them.
