Hi guys,
im not new to the hobby as ive had a tank on and off for the past 17 years.
I havent had a tank running for the last 4 months due to moving house and am going to get started on designing my next tank.

I'm building a new house and will have the tank in one room as a feature on one of the walls.

It will be about 10 to 12 meters in length but haven't decided on width or height.
the two options are
  1. 60cm wide by up to 120 to 150cm tall or
  2. 90cm wide by 75cm tall.
My hubby wants it to be narrower and taller while i would prefer more width to the tank

i was thinking of using a 4ft by 2ft tank as my sump with the design still to be worked out.
What would you chose and why when it comes to tank size?
Please help i don't know which way to go and don't want to regret my choices because i didn't think it through enough.

I'd do wide and short. But either way make sure you can reach the front corner. Maybe set up a box that has the two different dimensions and see which is better to work in. Not length wise but width and height.

To be honest I only know that cause I hate having to get things from the opposite corner of my tank, boobs getting wet does happen.
