I just got a used jbj 24g set up . But I'm new and can't judge wether the live rock and coral are healthy or not , please check the pictures and suggest if I have to do anything. Looks like old owner did not clean the tank for long time. I'm looking to see if any infections in the live rock or coral?

Looks like it needs a good cleaning!! Also looks like your getting some algae growth on the rocks, have you tested your water?

It does appear that you have a lot of unwanted algae and even cyano in the bottom. Not good :( Test you water for Ammonia, nitrites, nitrates, PH and phosphates and post up the numbers. That will help everyone give you better advice on how to proceed. I dont actually see any corals though.
