I just got this secondary to @AZDesertRat recommendations. How much should I apply? Will the pipes be easy to remove once this product is applied? Thanks!

I am certainly not a expert, but I did start using this on my threaded connections.
I just used it as I did with other similar products. Filled the threads up, without packing it in.
I had to pull one connection apart about a week after putting it together and it came apart just fine.
Added a little more and put it back together.

Ok, thank you for the response. I wasn't sure if being liberal with the application would be a good idea. Very pleased to hear disassembly was ok.

I've been using this for years. I pack the threads full, where the nut will be. it stays pliable so no issue with removing the nut.

This stuff works wonderfully for all plastic threads. I've had zero leaks. Stays soft and pliable for years. Easy to disassemble. And you don't have to overly tighten your connections. A good snug hand tight is plenty good enough provided you have good coverage on the threads. I rub it on perpendicular to the threads to ensure the grooves are full. I will never use Teflon tape again!!!
