Anyone here have success at growing chaeto with these 75 watt 5000k daylight Cree LED bulbs?

It was $17. It is no longer available, but there are others just like it.

yes its fine. the output is low IMO you may have to keep it close to the macros.

I had purchased this one very similar to the one you have however, I didn't seem to get much growth? Maybe the light isn't the limiting factor? Nitrates at 25 po4 .1, so I purchased this 75 watt led thinking it would be a better spectrum for chaeto growth?

it could just be junk too. I have owned 2 jbj lights that wouldn't grow anything.

Interesting, on one of the ratings some guy said grows algae in my refugium! ***** stars.
weird. That's when I check stuff like flow. if that doesn't work I also check my faith in humanity and the internet.

Well so far that led (75 watt) hasn't killed it.. running it 24/7 no signs of bleaching. Could be flow like you said.. meh...
