Well I had just about got over my loss. Just awhile back (quite a long time really) I was out to visit my sick grandfather. I went over to their place in Malaysia (I'm from Singapore so it isn't that far) for 3 days, which after all my years of keeping fish would tell me is totally fine for fish not to eat. What I didn't prepare though, hit me like club. While I was out there apparently was maintenance done to the electrical unit in our apartment. Which means everything would be turned off and we had to turn it back on manually when they're done. So I came back to a tank full of dead fish save for the one Melanurus Wrasse and 2 mollies I had. I was utterly devastated with the loss of my Desjardini, Watchman Goby, and moray, so I didn't really pay attention or bother to restock the tank yet. Now that I've gotten over it (somewhat), I'm back to running this tank. Added 4 new mollies and they've been fine so far this week. We'll see what the stocking list will go from there :)

Idk I just find them cute [emoji23] That and that they will readily breed, that makes for a good supplemental diet for many other fish in the future

They sure are [emoji16] Don't mind me asking, but, how do you determine the gender if the females aren't pregnant? I've no experience with livebearers save for halfbeaks and using them as feeders, I read up and was told that you look at the shape of the fin but apparently now even females have the big fins too :/

Look at the bottom (ventral) fin. If it fans out and looks like this:

Its a girl.

Males have a straight looking "fin" where this would be.

Ah I see, well apparently that means I've only got two males then. Thanks for the pointer [emoji16]

I have had several in my tank. With balloon mollies fairing the best. I hand no luck with other types. I like the idea of keeping a molly in tank just for the fact that not many people do it and they eat algae.
