I apologize in advance if this is not the right forum for this. Anyways I've had my light set up for maybe three weeks and I can already tell the difference. The cyano problem I was having before is no longer there. My zoas have great color and I've actually seen quite a few new heads popping up. Only after three weeks! Let's see what this baby does in three months! Excellent light and can't complain. Any of you guys with SB Reef Lights feel free to chime in. I'm sure many will appreciate it.

I take full responsibility for under estameting the power of the LED lights..

new lights are very strong this was at 60% for three days notice it didn't looks happy this is 6 days after moving to lower light, litteraly melted the top off of my baby ... Oddly the babies and other mushrooms took the new light better than the big momma bounce lost probably 45% and the largest of the bubbles on it.

Also some scorched sps

Dropped the light intensinity down from about from 60 to 35.. Will work back up over TIME

THANKS FOR THE AWASOME LIGHTS!!!

29 gallon tank using sb 16 inch wifi. As far as settings I'm not sure without looking in the app and checking it.

Bleached some corals dropped everything about 20% working back up corlas are confused as all get out with the new light been rearranging them like crazy to make everyone happy just like any major change with a tank there will always be bugs to work out not getting much grouth yet but still rebounding from the initial shock of having the lights to bright..

I've been trying different leds on the left side of my display for several months now. I started with an ever grow light. It grew ok, but I never got much color. Then I tried an ocean revive t247. This light gave me quite a bit more color, and it still had growth. I ran this fixture for several months. I bought an Sb 16" wifi to try in the spot. After 3 weeks the corals are colored up even more. They are growing and happy. Polyp extension is great. Overall the best light I've tried so far :)

im already running a current orbit marine Led that is 36 inches and i also threw on a marineland singlebright led 36's fixture that i was using when my tank was freshwater. the tank looks great as far as lighting goes, but i know i could always use some more than just my budget friendly setup. anyone have a SB reef light in 32" laying around that they arent using? i have a baby coming in 2 months and cant afford a new one lol. i was really hoping i would win the one in the giveaway last month but my luck is never good. I would even take a scratch and dent t5 fixture.

how big of an SB light would i need for my 46g bowfront? It's 36 inches wide but I really doubt I would need one that big.
A single 32" Pro Timer would be ideal. A single 16" especially with a center brace would be hard pressed to cover ends to end up top.

Hi Mike,
I usually tell people this for acclimation. Am I wrong.
Lux meter will help with that. App or $15 meter from Amazon. Meter the t5 ,Pick your color mix. Match the overall intensity and drop it by 30% IMO. ramp up from there. you should be able to match the old intensity over the next couple weeks. watch the corals. Youll likely be able to keep going. Watch the corals. AND GO SLOW.
