My favorite fish I've ever had passed away today, a sweet little Bandtail Waspfish named Zephyr. He had been more active than usual and hopping all over the tank. I took this as a good sign but I guess he was hungry and looking for food as he was very skinny when he died. He had been eating mysis very well but was never quite as plump as back when he ate ghost shrimp. I had been out of town for a week and the person feeding the tank must not have target fed him, as I thought he would be alright like that. He would have been with me for a year in February, and I'm very sad that I didn't get to spend more time with such a sweet, beautiful, and personable little creature. I made a little resting tomb for him and buried it outside. Rest in peace, Zephyr, you will be missed. No other fish was like you.
