Do you think the Curve 7 would be enough? I know they are rated for about 240g but I always went by the rule to double the skimmer.

Oh ya it pulls tons of skimmate. I have it set to the lowest setting. Ill post some pics.

I really like the BM Curve lineup. Got the 5 myself and even through I upgraded, water volume is about 100g it should work fine. Right now it's a medium load but we'll see.

I love my curve 7. Great piece of equipment for its price range.

Ive used a bunch of ASM skimmers too. My G2 was very simple. Easy to clean. A little easier than the curve imo.

Looking good your getting there. Like what you got going on so far rock layout looks cool

Nice sump too but seems kind of small to me. I have a 90 gallon tank for a sump and its awesome. If your ever looking for a quiter more efficient pump than the mag 12 get a reeflo running in snapper mode. It won't give any heat to your water and uses less energy than the mag 12. I used to use a mag 18 and 12 externally and they still heated the water. Lets face it anyways one mag12 is not enough flow for a 210 when you calculate head and restriction into playYou should also have atleast two drains at 1 1/4" to 1 1/2" can't tell what size you put in. You may need to add more drains or make those bigger to get more flow.

also love your curve 7 Im getting ready to order a curve9 from fish street and its about 180 less than marine depot.

Don't get me wrong not trying to put your tank down. It's looking great. A few of us have 210s trido, skinz and I do.

I have 2 1 1/4 drains. I had the mag 18 but it was too much so I down sized to the 12. Im at 4ft from the overflow to the sump. I haven't had any problems with heat. Do you running a reeflo on your system?
