Just started setting up a dropoff tank and looking for inspiration, thought it was funny that I ended up using this exact IKEA shelf as stand as well! Following this thread, please keep the pics coming!

It's worked out nicely! I'm not sure if the one we used is identical to the one linked to above, although it looks exactly the same. It's been some years since we purchased it (a lot of our old trade show booth stuff came from IKEA ... very versatile!).

Still not sure how to take correct pictures with an iPhone but here's my IM tank. I am in the process of building a rock wall for the back ledge to make it more natural. This is my first tank it's been fun to work with so far stuffed quite a few things in the back already.

This is amazing. How did you glue the rocks together?

I would say yes! I think there are both benefits and challenges that are unique to these style of tanks, so that alone is worthy of discussion. Or just so we can add some more eye candy to the thread.

I bought this dude for my wife's first tank. I've also got a NUVO 10 that I'm setting up at work. Just gotta order the accessories and she'll be reefing! This was the tank she sporadically wanted to start and you guys know how it is when the wife wants to help with the fish... You do what you gotta do. She asked me what she should do first and I said join R2R. Lol

I use the Aquamaxx FR-SE reactors with Sicce Micra Plus pumps on mine.

In the process of getting what we want on the tank (lights, upgrades, etc.) and it'll be up and running. Hopefully we'll be wet before Christmas!
