Fourth, ebonized two coats (iron Acetate)

I asked the store for more details. I asked them to have the builder add the trim and use furniture grade plywood so that the stain would coat nicely. We asked for a mocha brown instead of the ebony all the cabinet manufactures are during to give it more of a warm feeling. He surprised us with the inverse panels which took it over the top.

I wish I could take the credit on this one. I don't have all the tools readily available anymore to bust out one of these. I could though, if I had the tools....hint hint to my wife for Christmas. Ha!

The wood from this is oak that came from the lot where our home is built. And the door knobs are made from stones I picked up on the beach on Lake Superior.

I just finished this. Was a tougher task than I thought it would be but it was well worth it! Canopy is soon to come!
