I picked up my Craigslist score today, 210 gallons full of fish and corals.... My yard is full o buckets, I've got temp tanks set up everywhere but I've got this bad boy sitting in my living room.

The only real issue right now is my right middle finger "which I cut off 15 years ago and they sewed back on" now has a bad infection in it. I'm thinking I'm gonna have to go to the hospital tomorrow to have them drain it....

More to come later!

This is how the tank looked when I picked it up today.

Don't wait taking care of the infection. I had a couple fingers cut off around 16 years ago. They work great. You can't tell except my pointer finger kind of points the wrong way. I see several tangs in there that are getting along fine, that's worth a lot right there. I guess one man's loss is another man's gain. I hope the tank move goes smoothly for you.

Get the infection checked out ASAP. I moved last summer and ended up with my entire right hand infected. It felt like someone had beat it with a sledgehammer and then set it on fire. The doctor said I was in danger of losing it. I waited overnight hoping it would get better, and it only got worse. It was almost two weeks before I could go back to work. The crap in our tanks is no joke once it gets into your skin. Nice score, by the way.

Nice pick up, but oh my gosh , I hope your infection clears up quickly without complication

Thanks I have a 4:30 tomorrow with my doc, not sure if I can make it that long though. May go to the ER.

Mine don't work that well, I actually crushed them off so they were badly broken so I had to wait about 4 weeks to begin physical therapy. Yeah there were a bunch of Tangs, I got rid of a few that I already had.

The mother load Chris! Clams??

No clams but that will be changed!

Wow nice pick up!!

Go get the finger dealt with ASAP man! Infections can get bad quick!!

-Alex-

Here's a pic of the finger I just took.

Thanks Roy! I'm looking forward to coming and raiding your tank soon.

Thanks, I'm positive that the infection isn't tank related. It does hurt like you explained though, I even had to have my wife cut my pancakes up for me this morning....

Gotta lovethose pickups. Came acrossed one of those for a $200 score myself a while back. It had dwindled in being taken care of though so everything looked drab when I got it but that is where a few of my millies, pearlberry, meteorshower, and many more came from. Sold a bunch and made my $ back and took the rest to the swap to overload the tables for a good time. Good snag.

go get that drained ASAP, just had a nasty cat bite on my fingers, reason why my new 75g is not being transferred into also. A hurt finger is better then no finger!

Heres my war wound

Well that was lame, went to the ER and they said it was a six hour minimum wait just to get in. The waiting room was FULL. One lady came up and complained that she had been there for four hours already. They told me to come back at 4AM.

So in the mean time here's some more pic's.

Two of the new fish I got yesterday with the tank, Red Sea Sailfin Tang and Foxface Rabbitfish.

My front yard is a wreck after bringing the tank home...
