Cool! This wont overload the socket?

I cant speak for the GHL, but Ive used them before on my Apex without any issue.I cant imagine that two DC powerheads would overload a single outlet. Still, it'll hold you over until you get another powerbar, unless you are doing something crazy with the profiles and shutting off only one pump at a time.

Can I assign the heater to the (Permanent socket), and how do I control it with the temp probe?

You won't be able to control your heater with the outlet that is always on, the heater needs to be able to shut on and off. I believe GHL recommended plugging in the profilux itself into the always on outlet, or plug in multiple things that don't need to be shut off regularly. You could take a power strip and plug it into there so you can use multiple items on this outlet.

Do you have both mp40s plugged into separate outlets on the power bar? If so I would combine them on one freeing up another socket for you.

Thanks guys that helped, as long as it doesnt void a warranty im all for doing that. I dont know why I didnt think of plugging the P4 into the PS.

I woke up this morning to an alarm on the P4. ReDox probe is reading 329mv. First off, im still reading about ORP/ReDox. Essentially what I get from this is this probe is telling me what my overall water quality is. Too high means there is not enough impurities, too low means too much impurities. From what ive read 350mv seems nominal. So why is the probes upper limit default set at 300?

@Randy Holmes-Farley , Ive been reading your article on this.

I usually have LOW orp and set my ozone to turn off when the redox probe reads around 320.
If I recall correctly, mid 300's is about where you want to be.

So my default limits being 0 and 300 aren't correct. What do you suggest I set the limits to?

Are you running ozone? If not, I wouldn't worry about it. I would just monitor it out of curiosity.
If running ozone, I'd set it to around 300 or 320 with a hysterisis of 20.
That's what I do.

I don't monitor orp.:) Too many faulty readings . Air bubbles or a slightly dirty probe can cause issues.

The Reefer is now running 100% on Profilux 4. I updated the powerbar 5.1 to run both MP40's on socket 3. I did this by plugging a power strip into S3, then the MP40's plug into the strip.

This is how it looks in GCC.

I offset my salinity probe today. I'm going to bring a sample into my lfs and ask them to verify though.

Hey bud, do you think you could write a quick dumbed down guide on how to calibrate the sensors? I'm not understanding many of the display screens showing up when I click calibrate on the Profilux. I've read through the programming guide for calibration, but it seems to be mostly jargon to me. I haven't been able to find a clear step by step guide that explains every step in sequence. Thanks! I'm in the process of trying to get my Profilux 4 up and running, and look forward to the future release of the new webserver, new apps, and fully functional myGHL (and the server side fixes).

I would be happy to help you out. Tonight, after I get home ill write a simplified step by step procedure specific to calibrating the probes. Im on EST. Let me also be the first to welcome you to the forum!

Hey Stevo, I'm having a problem with my Touch changing back and forth from the main screen to a blank screen every few seconds, just like the P4 screen does.
But the P4 screen needs to change because it can't fit all the probe info on a single screen.
This didn't happen with the Touch when running the P3.
Does your Touch rotate screens like that or stay on the one screen?
I can't figure it out.
